At the China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2018, Bright Food together with Norwegian risk management and quality assurance company DNV GL presented their food safety and tracebility solution which uses the VeChain blockchain solution. DNV GL operates in over 100 countries and has around 14,500 employees worldwide.



Bright Food — registered in Shanghai, China — is a multinational food and beverages manufacturing company. Measured in 2011 revenues, it is the second-largest China-based food producing company. According to their video:

In China, people are beginning to care more about food safety and are concerned about the quality of products and services they consume. Bright Code built a Consumer Confidence Index, generated by an independent third party organization. It collects data about activities across the whole value chain, from source to consumption.

The China International Import Expo is a 6-day event which is held from the 5th of November to the 10th at the National Convention and Exhibition Center in Shanghai, China. It is visited by government officials, business communities, exhibitors and professional purchasers worldwide to provide them new business opportunities.
