John McAfee Exits Luxcore Leadership Ahead of 2020 US Federal Election
John McAfee who was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Luxcore in August 2018 will be taking a bow from the leadership of the blockchain project. Citing his intention to participate in the upcoming 2020 U.S. federal election campaign, McAfee noted that he will no longer have the time to perform in full capacity as the CEO of Luxcore. In line with this, a mutual agreement has been reached for McAfee to step down.
Following the exit of McAfee, the current COO, CFO and CSO, Guillaume Huot, Frederick Angers and John Kim will handle the day-to-day running of the project until a new CEO is found.
Huot describing McAfee’s time as CEO said:
He was integral in helping us get to the point where our technology was finally ready for release. But now that we’re there, we need new leadership that can help us tackle the strategic marketing and business growth challenges ahead.
Luxcore recorded remarkable progress under McAfee’s watch. These include a listing on Coinbene exchange and the ongoing development of LuxGate and the Decentralized File Storage.
